Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 25, 2026
These terms govern the Justified Media managed website service, what you get, what it costs, how billing works, and what each of us is responsible for. They are written to be read by business owners, in plain English.
Launch for $499, including your first month. Then $349/month. Month-to-month, no long-term contract.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Justified Media's acquisition pages and your purchase of the Justified Media managed website service. By purchasing the service or using these pages, you agree to these terms.
The service is built for home service businesses, including carpet cleaning, plumbing, roofing, and property restoration companies, that want their website and ongoing online-presence work handled for them. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to agree to these terms for that business.
The service
Justified Media provides a managed website and ongoing online-presence service: a professionally built website, plus a defined set of monthly work described in "Ongoing monthly scope" below. It is a standardized, productized service, not an unlimited agency engagement. Work outside the standard package is only included if we separately agree to it in writing.
Pricing and billing
There are two ways to pay for the service, chosen at checkout:
Monthly (the standard path): launch for $499, including your first month. Then $349/month. Your launch payment of $499 covers the build and launch of your website and includes your first month of the $349/month service. After that first month, billing continues at $349 per month on a recurring basis until cancelled (see "Cancellation, refunds, and checkout terms").
Optional annual prepay: $3,499 paid upfront covers the launch of your website plus your first 12 months of service, a saving of $839 compared with the $4,338 first-year monthly path. After the first 12 months, your service automatically continues month-to-month at $349/month unless cancelled under the normal cancellation rules. Annual prepay is entirely optional; if you prefer flexibility, choose the standard monthly path.
Taxes or third-party fees may apply where applicable. Payments are processed by a payment provider such as Stripe when checkout is enabled, and your payment method will be charged on the schedule shown at checkout.
Month-to-month service, no long-term contract
The service is month-to-month with no long-term contract. You are not locked into a 12-month agreement, and you may cancel at any time as described below.
We do ask customers to plan on staying for the first year. Launching the site and then doing the ongoing content, local search, and maintenance work properly takes time, and the service is designed around that first year of compounding work. This is a planning expectation, not a mandatory 12-month contractual commitment.
Cancellation, refunds, and checkout terms
Monthly path: the service is month-to-month, and you may cancel at any time, including through one-click or self-service cancellation when available. We ask for about 30 days' notice when possible, that is a courtesy and planning request, not a binding obligation, and there is no cancellation penalty. If you cancel with immediate effect, your future recurring billing stops; we will not bill you an additional 30 days solely because your notice was shorter.
Annual prepay path: the $3,499 annual prepayment is refundable only before Justified Media begins work. Once we have begun the website build or other fulfillment work, the $3,499 annual prepayment is non-refundable. Because the prepayment covers a full 12 months, your service remains available through the prepaid term unless it is terminated for another valid reason under these terms. Cancelling during the prepaid term, including by self-service, prevents renewal after the term ends; it does not create a refund for the prepaid term. After the first 12 months, your service continues month-to-month at $349/month and the normal month-to-month, self-service cancellation approach described above applies.
Launch payment refund (monthly path): the $499 launch payment is refundable only before Justified Media begins work. Once we have begun the website build or other fulfillment work, the $499 launch payment is non-refundable.
Monthly charges: monthly charges that have already processed are non-refundable. Cancellation stops future recurring billing; it does not reverse charges that have already been processed.
If transaction-specific order or checkout terms presented to you before you pay conflict with these general site Terms on a checkout or payment matter, the transaction-specific terms control.
Your responsibilities
To deliver the service well, we rely on you to:
- Provide accurate information about your business, services, and service area
- Have the rights and permission to use the materials you give us, logos, photos, text, trademarks, job photos, and customer or project information
- Complete the intake and provide the materials and feedback we need in a timely way, the launch target depends on it
- Ensure the claims, offers, and statements specific to your business that appear on your website are accurate and legally compliant for your trade and market
The launch process
Getting started is designed to be fast. Your intake is one structured questionnaire that takes about 20 minutes. We build your website from your completed intake and include up to two revision rounds before launch.
We work to a 7-day launch target once we have your completed intake and the basics we need, your business information, logo, and job photos. That is a target we organize around, not an unconditional guarantee: delays in receiving materials or feedback can move it.
Ongoing monthly scope
The standard monthly service includes:
- Hosting, maintenance, and routine updates for your website
- Ongoing SEO and AI search content: 2 blog/resource posts and 3 local service/location pages per month
- Google Business Profile optimization and ongoing maintenance
- Recent Project pages built from real completed jobs you supply
- Technical SEO monitoring
- Google Search Console review
- GA4/analytics review
Services not included
Unless separately agreed and sold, the standard package does not include:
- Pay-per-click advertising management (Google Ads, LSAs)
- Broad social media management
- Email marketing
- Full traditional agency retainer work
- Major bespoke development or one-off projects outside the service scope
Website ownership and moving your site
Your website is yours. After 12 completed months of service, if you want to move your website elsewhere, no website buyout is required and we will assist with the transfer and offboarding.
You may cancel the service at any time (as described in "Cancellation, refunds, and checkout terms"). However, if you cancel before completing 12 months and want to take or retain the website, an early website transfer/buyout may apply. Any applicable transfer amount will be provided to you before the transfer is completed. If you cancel before 12 months and do not take the website, no buyout applies, the early transfer option is only relevant if you want to keep the website. This is about taking the website early, not a cancellation penalty or a requirement to keep paying for service.
If you chose the optional annual prepay path, your prepayment covers the full first 12 months, so once that prepaid first-year term is complete, the normal no-buyout transfer and offboarding rules apply, just as they do for any customer after 12 completed months.
Some parts of a website involve third-party elements, software, fonts, plugins, integrations, hosting platforms, stock assets, APIs, or licensed components. Those remain subject to their own licenses and terms, and are not transferred beyond what those licenses permit.
Your content
You keep ownership of the materials you provide to us, your logo, photos, text, and business information. You give Justified Media permission to use those materials as reasonably necessary to build and maintain your website and perform the service. That permission is for delivering the service; it is not a general license for us to use your materials for our own marketing.
Our materials and intellectual property
Justified Media retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, workflows, internal systems, know-how, reusable templates and components, and brand materials. Your completed website is yours, as described above, subject to the third-party licenses noted there. Nothing in these terms is intended to take away something that belongs to you, this section simply keeps our underlying systems and methods ours.
Third-party services
The service depends on third parties, for example Stripe for payments, hosting providers, Google (including Search Console, GA4, and Google Business Profile), Meta, analytics and scheduling tools, domain registrars, and various APIs. Those services have their own terms, and their outages, changes, or decisions are outside our control. We will work with you in good faith when a third-party change affects your service, but we are not responsible for third-party platforms themselves.
No guarantee of marketing results
We do not guarantee rankings, leads, sales, revenue, AI search citations, or any specific search placement. Search visibility changes over time and depends on third-party platforms and algorithms we do not control. What we commit to is doing the defined work well, every month.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service or your website for anything unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful, including distributing malware, sending spam, misrepresenting your business or licensing, or violating others' intellectual property or privacy rights. We may suspend or terminate service for activity of this kind.
Service changes and maintenance
We may make reasonable changes to the tools, platforms, and processes we use to deliver the service as technology and best practices evolve, while maintaining the core service you purchased. Third-party services we rely on may also change their own features or terms over time.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
We provide the service on a commercially reasonable basis and stand behind the quality of our work. Beyond that, we do not warrant that third-party platforms will be uninterrupted, error-free, or unchanged, and we are not liable for outages or decisions made by those platforms.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you have paid us for the service in the period giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
Either of us can end the month-to-month service. You may cancel as described in "Cancellation, refunds, and checkout terms." We may also suspend or terminate the service for abuse, nonpayment, or a material breach of these terms that is not resolved after we raise it with you. Sections that by their nature should survive ending the service, such as ownership, intellectual property, and limits of liability, continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes apply going forward and do not retroactively change the terms of purchases already made.
